American Psycho… 

Oh my god… ಠ_ಠ 

So, The first half of the book is pretty tame, the second half though, Imagine the most brutal rape/murder scene in A Clockwork Orange and multiple it by a thousand, take away the witty language that makes it sort of funny in a very disturbing way. Add a prostitute, a tube, a rat and some brie cheese (which I love and will now never be able to eat again) and a total psychopath who narrates it in a completely detached voice…

Squeamish readers beware!  

Next on my reading is list another lovely book about a murdering psycho: Into the Miso Soup by Ryu Murakami

*Hides in a corner and pulls out Orwell’s Animal Farm* 

I will read something nice next. Kafka on the Shore. .  . probably, if it has arrived in the mail by then
